Improving Food Security And Resilience Of Food Production Systems In Karamoja (Nabilutuk And Nakapiripirit Districts

Project Objectives 
To contribute to Enhanced resilience and gender-responsiveness of food production and livelihood systems for food and nutrition security in Karamoja sub region.

Summary of intended project outcomes

  • Output 1: Farmer Field Schools (FFS) and Farmer Business Schools (FBS) established and strengthened
  • Output 2: Capacity Building and Livelihood Support Provided for farmers and youth
  • Output 3: Climate Resilience, Disaster Risk Management Enhanced
  • Output 4: Project information disseminated, and project activities monitored, evaluated and Knowledge Sharing enhanced
Project Title
Promoting Access To SRHR Information Among The Youth In Uganda.
Funding Agency : Sustainable Population Australia (SPA)

 

Project Objectives
To improve sexual and reproductive health literacy, choices, and service uptake among adolescents and youth in Uganda through innovative podcasting approaches. The specific project objectives are a) to enhance access to accurate, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive SRHR information for adolescents and youth through podcasts, social media influencers and content creators and b) To increase uptake and quality of SRHR services among adolescents and youth.

Summary of intended project outcomes

  • Increased SRHR knowledge, confidence, and engagement among adolescents and youth across Uganda.
  • Increased uptake and quality of adolescent-friendly SRHR services.
  • Improved visibility and reach of SRHR information through podcasts, influencers, and social media channels.
  • Reduced stigma and increased public dialogue on sexuality, reproductive health, and rights.
  • Documented evidence of podcasts and influencer-driven campaigns as scalable tools for advancing SRHR among youth.
