Caring for the Creation

Caring for the Creation(C4C)

Supported by Nola Steward, a passionate Christian environmentalist from Australia; Caring for God’s creation is a program that engages, challenges and empowers faith-based institutions and communities across Africa about creation care so that their voices, intentions and actions towards addressing the critical environmental and climate issues are magnified, visualized and reciprocated for sustainable livelihoods and a healthy earth.

Started in 2010, C4GC involves hosting an annual Workshop through which various faith/religious leaders are provided with a platform to learn and dialogue about faith, sustainable development and environment stewardship and are made aware of the state of the environment and how they can engage their congregations to care for it.

Objectives

  1. Inform, educate and communicate about Caring for God’s Creation
  2. Promoting Ecological Stewardship (practical actions of creation care)
  3. Promoting green solutions and enterprises
