Climate Proof & ECO-SMART DRR in Karamoja (CPESDRR)

The project builds on the ICPDRR [CCA/EMR/DRR] project successes and lessons which was implemented from 2012-2015.

Commenced in 2016, it is supported by Cordaid and directly effected in Nabilatuk, Lolachat Sub-Counties of Nakapiripirit and Irriri Sub-County in Napak District.

It focuses on deepening, and up scaling community resilience, linking and learning for advocacy interventions.

Interventions include trainings, promotion of drought tolerant crops, strengthening community based DRR systems, early warning interventions and information sharing, promoting earning and financial savings among other agro-pastoral interventions.
