Ecological Christian Organisation (ECO) Is an indigenous Non-Governmental organization working in collaboration with Uganda Biodiversity Fund (UBF), Nature Uganda (NU) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) to implement a 4-year European Union funded project titled ‘Restoring and Conserving degraded fragile ecosystems for improved Community Livelihoods among the Refugee and Host Communities of West Nile Region and the mid-Albertine Rift.’ The project aims at improving livelihoods and ecosystems resilience, addressing impacts of climate change within the refugees and host communities in the landscapes of Terego and Yumbe (West Nile) and Kegegwa, Kamwenge and Kikuube (Mid-Albertine) Regions. ECO is implementing its component of the project in the districts of Terego and Yumbe where it undertakes interventions on: Agro-forestry, Sustainable Land Management, woodlot establishment, capacity building of project stakeholders, and restoration of woodlands in pursuit of the overall project objective. The mentioned project interventions, require a variety of agro-input supplies most especially the seeds and seedlings from competent/certified nursery operators and seed producers within or outside the project districts as follows;

1 ECO/PN/2024/001 •    Vetiver slips and. cassava stalks.

The variety of cassava stalks should be NAROCASS 1 and NASE 14. Each cutting should have 5 -7 nodes from a mother garden that is at least 1-1.5 years old, free of pests and diseases.


The unit of measurement for both the vetiver slips and cassava stalks should be fully packed sacks.

2 ECO/PN/2024/002 •    Ramida-Imidacloprid pesticide- unit of measurement should be 1 litre bottle pack.

•    Mancozeb- unit of measurement should be a Kg

•    Mancozeb plus metalaxyl i.e. winna 72- the unit of measurement should be a Kg. 

3 ECO/PN/2024/003 •    Seedlings of Mahogany and Muvule.

•     Gmelina arborea and Teak Stamps.

The unit of measurement is a single seedling or a stamp

4        ECO/PN/2024/004 •    Seedlings of Greavilea and Calliandra

The unit of measurement is a single seedling

5 ECO/PN/2024/005 •    Seedlings of Grafted Mangoes, Budded Oranges, Jackfruit and brother heart Hass Ovacado.

The unit of measurement is a single seedling

6 ECO/PN/2024/006 Supply of Tools namely: slasher, mattock, panga, hoe, bow saw and blade, string, tape measure, secateur.

The unit of measurement is a piece



  • ECO invites Bids from eligible competent bidders for the supply of non-assorted agro-inputs as indicated above. Note that the costing for the above mentioned items should be for a unit/ piece.

Late bids shall be rejected.
