INVITATION TO BID FOR PROCUREMENT OF AGRO INPUTS (SEEDLINGS, AGRO CHEMICALS, SEEDS, SLIPS & TOOLS)

Ecological Christian Organisation (ECO) Is an indigenous Non-Governmental organization working in collaboration with Uganda Biodiversity Fund (UBF), Nature Uganda (NU) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) to implement a 4-year European Union funded project titled ‘Restoring and Conserving degraded fragile ecosystems for improved Community Livelihoods among the Refugee and Host Communities of West Nile Region and the mid-Albertine Rift.’ The project aims at improving livelihoods and ecosystems resilience, addressing impacts of climate change within the refugees and host communities in the landscapes of Terego and Yumbe (West Nile) and Kegegwa, Kamwenge and Kikuube (Mid-Albertine) Regions. ECO is implementing its component of the project in the districts of Terego and Yumbe where it undertakes interventions on: Agro-forestry, Sustainable Land Management, woodlot establishment, capacity building of project stakeholders, and restoration of woodlands in pursuit of the overall project objective. The mentioned project interventions, require a variety of agro-input supplies most especially the seeds, tools and seedlings from competent/certified nursery operators and seed producers within or outside the project districts as follows;

- ECO invites Bids from eligible competent bidders for the supply of non assorted agro-inputs as indicated above
- Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ECO’s procurement manual

Completed sealed bid documents should be returned to the reception desk at the mentioned offices above and fully addressed to the Procurement Committee, Ecological Christian Organization. With procurement Ref Number(s) indicated on the envelope or by Email with all the attachment as one PDF Document to email info@ecouganda.org by Friday 27th March 2023 5:00pm. Late bids shall be rejected.
ECO Uganda reserves the right to accept or reject any bid in whole or in part and does not bind itself to give reasons for either rejection or acceptance.
