Job Overview/Summary: To provide administrative support to all activities of the office

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide Front desk services, including welcoming visitors and directing them to the appropriate staff
  • Operate and maintain a variety of office equipment, e.g. photocopier, printer, scanner, etc.
  • Photocopy a variety of documents and other materials
  • Record, distribute and file all incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Ensure proper filing of all documents, both of administrative and program nature
  • Ensure timely request and delivery of stationary and office supplies to the field office
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of program events/workshops, as required, and provide logistical support to the program team
  • Open and close the office on a daily basis
  • Clean the offices, prepare and serve teas
  • Ensure safety of office equipment
  • Report infrastructural damages at the office
  • Participant in staff meetings
  • Follow up on documents dispatched between field office and Head Office through bus courier service.
  • To run office errands
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by the Project Officer.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • He/ She should possess a minimum of an Ordinary Certificate of Education (O Level Certificate)
  •  Two years work practical experience will be added advantage
  • Should possess good interpersonal, communication and team work skills
  • Must have a good command of spoken and written English language, Akaramojong and Kiswahili
  • Should be willing to reside in the staff guest room provided.
